| Professional STI Racer Feedback Score: 0 reviews | From what I understand our common problem is rear strut clunk. That's the most major issue you'll find with a lot of STIs. That is much easier to fix vs. Evos and their transmission issues. I chose the STI b/c the interior is not nearly as cheap and cheesy looking. The boxer motor and distinct exhaust sound. To me the STI is just more unique. Also it seems like there are a lot of douche bags driving Evos and it was in the Fast and Furious. Lastly, Subaru has a world rally team. Love it The only thing the Evos have going for them in my opinion is the Recaro seats |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2007 | I picked the STI because it was more what I was looking for as a whole package. I drove my friend's Evo IX before test driving the STI and as soon as I drove the STI, I decided it was the one I wanted. The STI to me is more aesthetically pleasing as well. |

| Senior STI Driver Feedback Score: 1 reviews | I've posted some of these reasons in other posts but: The Evo exterior is more appealing IMO Wide aggressive front fenders on STI The STI Interior is way better! Mitsu dealer was a douche bag and they wouldn't let me test drive(main reason I bought the 06 STI and again in 2008, 2 sales lost for Mistu) Didn't like the paddle **** auto trans of the MR STI 6MT Didn't like the over priced MR -$7000 and 0% for 63 monthes 305 hp Liked the Evo's seats better, more supportive and sporty The STI's ride is comfortable Evo Stereo wins STI is a Hatchback Overall weighing all the considerations I had to go with the STI |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2007 | I wanted a brand new 07 Evo Mr. But Mitsubishi did not come out with a 07, so a 07 STI was my next choice. I was thinking of the the Evo but when I did my research they said they will not come out with a stick shift! So my answer would 2007 Evo 2009 Evo X then the 2007 STI. If I were you, go out and drive the cars before you buy. After seeing some video I think the Evo X is the best out there and the best bang for the buck! But hey that is just what I think! |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2006 | I think the biggest factors for me were: Price (EVO was more) Cruise control (EVO didn't have it) 6 speed trans (EVO didn't have it) DCCD (EVO only has 3 settings) Mitsu (un)reliabilty is legendary Although in hindsight that last one is not really a factor what with Subi switching to glass pistons from 07 on. |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2008 | I got the sti for all that darn torque. I pull chains with cummins all day and my transfer case is still like a rock. I tie that chain to my spoiler. Lets see an evo do that!!! :nau ghty: |
