IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2007 | I think you should go drive both cars and make a decision... its what you wanna drive and if you are buying either car new, as long as you take care of them, you wont have reliability issues unless you get a bad car from the factory. I have read horror stories from both ends on both forums and I doubt you will have issues if you go new. I drove an 08 STi for 2 days and test drove an EVO X GSR and test drove several 06 EVOs before I made a decision. Neither 08 cars totally impressed me as they both have been toned down from their previous iterations. I am so happy and lucky I found an 06 EVO IX MR with 10k miles on the clock, stock and immaculate. I had an 07 STi for one year and liked the car but after I drove an 06 EVO, it really grew on me and after learning more about the car on the EVO forums, I decided to make the switch. Well good luck with whatever you choose. |
