| STI Driver Feedback Score: 0 reviews | I chose mine, cuz I worked at Honda dealer, and some dumbass took 17k for it to trade it in... 2005 with only 42k on the ticker, and all it needed was a set of rubber, and the 50k checkup done:P 52k now and running strong...reliable as hell..only other thing I have to do yet is pads/rotors, but thats any car |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2007 | I used Consumer Reports in addition to 8 years of general reading and looking at what was driven(Subaru or Mitsubishi) the most here in the U.S. I like them both and the STI is 1st. |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2008 | I wasn't an expert with either car, but I did see a few comparisons so I knew they were about as close to equal as any 2 cars could be. So I had nothing major against the EVO, it seemed like a great car. But there were just a few things that I liked about the STI that made me go in that direction. -Symmetrical AWD. I know people will say the EVO's AWD system is just as good, but you can't deny that a symmetrical system is best. -Didn't see many EVO's for sale. Not that I saw a lot of STI's either, but there just seemed to be more STI's on the market. I'm really picky so I probably wouldn't have found the exact EVO that I wanted. -Most reviews say the interior in the STI is better. Some people can't get over the blue, but it doesn't bother me. -2.5L engine instead of 2.0L. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think starting with more displacement is better. Quote:

IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2006 | Drove a few Evos and they feel like cardboard boxes with a quick steering rack. I wasn't impressed at all. Honestly, what a piece of ****. I also have always had a thing for the underdog |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2008 | It's not really a big deal. If you don't like it simply don't post in the thread. I'm not saying they're in the right either but if it is an active discussion and people are willing to discuss this again why complain? |
