is it really that difficult to open your door and NOT hit somebody elses car? well the answer to that in my case is no... i've had my car for about 2 months and already gotten 2 dings... prior to that the owner of the car had it for 3 years and only had 2 dings... i have no idea how that works considering i try to park as far away as humanly possible but anyway i'm just posting here to see how much this infuriates anybody else on here... *end rant*

i have a door ding, chipped the paint. going to cost $350 to fix.

At school/work i park far away, in a parking lot of like 200 spots in lot A. I parked in teh farthest corner, to come out seeing about 50 spaces open and a car parked right next to mine. lovely nice red beater. I was not happy.

^^^ i get what you're saying but why does owning a nice car justify a door ding? i had a civic before this and never had a single ding on it i get this car and get 2 within like a week of the other... anyway i will start driving my brothers civic to work from now own..

At work (Best Buy) I park allll the way in the back of the lot. Where no one else would want to park..cept me Sometimes, when a certain someone is working (Scion tC who thinks he's hot ****) its right next to my car. Not a few spots away...but right next to it. It pisses me off. No one else does it.

I know what you're saying. It just proves the point the the bulk of the population is made up of inconsiderate sots. I had someone park nose to nose with my car and was touching mine. No scrapes or anything but just the nerve...

i came out of a store one day. just watched a lady push her shopping cart into nowhere. and that nowhere was my front passenger door. got a nice dent and some chip. it was awesome..... i park in a gated/need to show id to enter lot at work, and still manage about 1 ding every 6 months. and on the tc subject, some punk flung his door into mine day before yesterday. some very unpleasant damage.. and white paint exchange on my poor black baby.

im done ranting.
