When I was in Washington state my 4Runner got broken into twice... after the second time I spent 2 weeks sleeping in the back under a blanket with my .40 Sig waiting for the meth-heads to come back!

My Prelude was broken into while I was partying/drinking in the Tachikawa prefecture. I don't know if it was the USDM Ipod or the bunches of 500 yen coins I had lieing around but it was enough for them to jimmy my door open. It's pretty much the same everywhere, your always gonna have people like these no matter where you go.

I guess there's a lot of hate going around. My STI got broken into about a month ago... in the car port at home. They completely cleaned out the glove compartment which had my GPS, iPod, wheel lock key, registration, manual, etc. They even managed to reach to the center console and grab a bunch of old USPS receipts. Best part of it it all... they took the GPS, and the mount (which was on the windshield)... and decided to leave the power cord in the car. I guess they thought it was a phone charger. I sometimes leave my wallet in the car... so I got lucky that this wasn't one of those times.

It was mainly a nuissance, since everything is replaceable. The main part that sucked was that I was almost done sound deadening that door... and then this happened. So the window repair guy had to mess with the mat a bit.

really? wow! that's really unfortunate....

i live in central tokyo, and park my STI in an open area without a garage/roof, etc. and its okay...

but, i would have to believe you that it should be pretty much the same everywhere - there are always people like these...

Man, that's a bummer ! Sounds like one of your friends did you in ! Who knew it was there ? Cause it kind of sounds like too big of a coincidence, to be a coincidence !

Know what I mean, Vern ?

100 % sure it was one of your neighbors. Alot of people hate if you have something new. Be cautions and buy NRA decals for your car maybe even a membership and some guns and then clean them outside.
