hah thats true in my end as well my friend. whenever im parked at a populated area (mostly at school a restaurant or malls), i always get that fear in the back of my mind and have that same exact sigh of relief as soon as it's in my sight once again as im walking back to it. i even smile wit pride. lol. but oddly enough, the worst i have feared for has been someone to accidentally open their door a little too strong or making a little bump and run. with that, i should start expecting for the even worse...

You know the most feared is the soccer mom with an SUV full of little'' hell razers''.

Well ,a mayflower full of them DID NOT HIT MY CAR ahhhh
.Those damn soccer moms dont know why i come outside to say ''thank you very much mam and have a good day''

thanks for the feedback guys. I just hate it when **** like this happens. i feel so violated.

But I just keep my chin up b/c what was damage can be fixed and what was lost could be replaced, as long as no one gets hurt. that's pretty much how I see it.

I think they knew there was a big prize in there and they went for it before you deposited it.

That really sucks.
Happens all the time no one even hears it. From the look of the glass although not the best job all the person or people did was use a screw drive in the corner of the glass and pop it and it just breaks and folds over since its tempered. Smash and grab only takes 30 seconds or less.

You have my sympathies. I won't post what I think should happen to thieves. Especially if I was in charge of delivering justice.

It's no different here in Hawaii. I've had my vehicles broken into so many times now I've lost count. My Sti however is well guarded at my house and NEVER sees any parking lot time.

Did anyone besides you know that you had 600 bones sitting in the glovebox?

Even your best bud?

Here's what happened to my old eclipse... it's sad, but it happens. Luckily, I was reading Dalai Lama's "The Art of Happiness", and I thought, if my cd player ($350 at the time) and cell phone charger (just the charger!) make somebody else happy then I can bite the loss and shrug it off. Nothing would make the situation any better, not being mad, not getting frustrated, so all I could do (which would still not make the situation any better) was just chill.

Your pic with the smile says it all, you already know this. Good for you!

...we used to call the broken glass fairy dust and would wake up every morning to see if the fairies left anybody presents from the night before. Oh Newark, how I don't miss thee.

I honestly couldn't tell you. It was my best friend's car all through high school for 4 years, he washed and waxed it almost every weekend. When I bought it from him so he could get a larger car (CRV to transport crap) he made sure I kept the same schedule. I wasn't into cars then, so your guess is as good as mine. Competely stock besides a pleather (vinyl) bra. The car was a beauty, but Mitsu transmissions are utter crap. He rebuilt the trans at 110k (because of 2nd popping back out as soon as you put it in) before giving it to me and it started clunking/slipping out of 2nd gear around 140k. I learned stick on that car, but my father said I learned quickly and there was no way in hell I could have beat the trans that hard in 30k. We took it out to pasture and I drove my grandfather's 89 Corolla for a bit after that (no, not '86... heh).
