I think that I am just going to take the money, pay off the car and become debt free except for my mortgage. I am in no hurry to create more debt for myself by getting a new car. I am just going to have it as my dd just to go to and from work which is only about ~14 miles for the next few years. I really want to wait to see what new cars the auto industry is going to bring as I am not really happy with anything new that has been released.

Smart.

save/invest the difference in something safe like a cd or savings account. make your "car" payments to this account every month and in notime you'll have plenty of new car money
