What's this supposed to be connected to?

I have a connector up under the intake that's not connected to anything. The car has an AEM CAI installed that was there when i got the car. This relocates the filter down behind the pass. side fog light cover. I got under there to clean the filter today and noticed this was not connected to anything and was tied off with blue tape. I have no problems with the car and no CEL, anyone know what it is and whether or not it could cause problems? Thanks.

Foglights? I think that we all have those, regardless if we got the foglights.
