I think people have the wrong idea of how the warranty works. If anyone has read the actual underlying rules regarding your warranty and the laws (this may vary by state though), you may find that warranty work is more often done than not.

SPT is a Subaru accessory. If they sell it at the dealership to be installed by their technicians when you buy the car, it needs to be covered. Look at the information on the intake when you bought it. It should show this.

Either way, if for some reason something happens to your engine after having the SPT on the car, they have to prove that the intake was the cause of the damage. If they can't prove this, they can't immediately rule it out (in the legal sense...they may at first try). Again, check with your local laws but I believe in California, this is the case. I've seen several different dealerships from different manufacturers try to place blame on a modded part when warranty work was being placed and once they were slapped with a court date, the service department did the work and everyone went on their way. If you go in there looking and acting stupid, you're going to get treated stupid. Go in understanding what is going on and stand your ground with knowledge.

Yes I agree. My 07 production date is 09/06. I went to stage 2 at around 3000 miles. The car now has over 28,000 miles without any issues what so ever.

Not needed for an spt intake. If you can buy it from the dealership it should still be covered under warranty.
