Dunno how i missed it lol.... 03/07 and mind you thats not technically "early" since they sell the 07s in late 06, so they had to have been in production before then... thats my take on the situation

I dont get it man..... How do you tell if you have hesitation??? Cause all I can notice is just turbo lag at full throttle to about 3,500 RPMS and then full boost at 3,500. and at half throttle and 3/4 throttle the car doesent boost full potential just like it should.

whats the best way to check this so called "HESITATION"??

I would ditch the OTS and go straight for a protune... its the only real way to fix the 07 problems, plus you will end up with a lot more power.

The COBB maps arn't the best IMO... when I logged mine before I got a real tune, it was pulling a little timing up top on the 1.04 map.

If your set on an AP, mine will be for sale next Friday (when I get back from a business trip)... PM me if you want it. I'll be posting it up in the for sale section next week when I get back in town.

Nice condition. Did they keep the STi logo on the trunk before they sold it to you?

Yeah...where's the rear STi badge. Also I have the same color. The AP is ok, but a pro tune is much better. I had the Ap on my 06 and got some gains, but let me also say that I used it for nothing else. That is to say I flashed my car and then put the Ap back in the box and put it away. After a few months i noticed lots of carbon build up on my exhaust. I'd wash her and go for a quick ride, come back and it was black again. No smoke or anything like that, just carbon build up. I decided to have it protuned, while on the dyno the tech looked at the fuel map graphs during the dyno and noticed fuel pressure spikes and just general richness. After the tune the car made 10 more horses over the cobb stage one and had much smoother tourque curves and acceloration. Cobb is a great product, but is a one size fits all type thing. Now I have to sell the cobb. Get a professional tune and dyno unless you realy want all the extra crap you can do with the cobb. I asked my tuner (who is also an electrical enginere) if a dealer could tell that I used the cobb. He said "your dealer....no, but subaru corperate could because the cobb does not actually return your cars file to the ECU but rather uploads a standard 06 map. Your origanal ECU factory flash would have had the vin in it somwhere, the cobb progam has no vin. After un marring my cobb he searched for a vin in the blocks of data code and was unable to find one. So my point is weather you use the cobb or get a protune as long as you bring it back to stock before you went to your dealer for a warrantee issue, they would not be able to tell unless they sent your ECU to SOA or had an SOA tech rep pick apart your ECU.
