well take this for what it is, there is a dealership by me..they have a few 07's..one has 7 miles on it and they are asking almost $37,000( it may have gone down since i have looked at it a few months ago and its still there)..looks like they are wanting around 36 for that which sounds just like my dealership. i wouldnt be in a rush to pay that much, if your not so eager to buy it, wait a little bit and see if you can lower them a bit

22k OTD for an 07 STi? Are you nuts? Buy it! I paid 33,500 OTD for mine.

EDIT: Buy it and with the money you saved get a catless dp, CBE, accessport, and a protune on a dyno and you'll be set with 300+ reliable AWHP.

That is a lot. The price that they use to run at was about $32,000 plus tax and add-ons.

36k OTD is way too much. Bump your offer to 20k + trade-in OTD. If they don't take it, tell them they have your number and walk out.

When they call back, offer them 19k + trade-in again. Only offer them the 20k +trade one time.

In other words, play their game with them. That car is eating profit for that dealership. They'll cave. Be patient.

Considering we're well into the 2008 model year cycle and perhaps the 2009 on the horizon, I have no idea why any dealership woudl want to sell the 2007 for such prices. Back in 2007, you could buy a new 2007 for $34K OTD (so about $31 + taxes)...but now you should be able to buy one for less. Hopefully

How much would you say your WRX is worth? I mean, they play the game where they either give you a low price on your WRX and then offer the STI for cheap, or give you lots for your WRX and sell the STI at an expensive price (either way the total cost is the same for you).

Assuming you'd be happy to get $14K for your WRX, I'd offer enough so that the end price of the STI is $32K OTD. So $18K additional clams.

Maybe I'm drastically low balling the number
