Heh, I love it every time I see these, knowing they can't do **** with their 2WD dyno. When they cough up the money for a AWD dyno, then I'll be worried.

I wonder if they can do 4th gear pull for you while they're at it and tell you how much you're putting down.

They have the old white vans around here all the time set up as a "Survey Crew". Every time I see one, I have to turn off the engine and coast through. Once was almost real bad since I was still running C16 from going to the races the day before.

My Vette failed one of those automatic smog things twice. You just get a thing in the mail saying they will pay for repairs up to $500.00. They say you should really get your car fixed blah blah blah. I live in the Springs now with no Emissions and run catless. Everytime I drive by one of those auto things I put the clutch in and lay on the gas.

They've gone too far!! Honestly I understand that cars are a contributer to greenhouse gasses, but leave me the **** alone. They only account for a smaller than you would think percentage, so the greenies need to get off our asses. How about we get rid of the coal power plants that predominantly power this country and than we'll talk about my car.

[devils advocate] If you think about it these things do have a purpose. It doesn't sound like they are looking for illegally modified cars rather older POS cars that have rusted out exhaust system or poorly running engines. I would assume that the idea is for the state to try and cut back on our CO2 emmissions by helping these people repair their ****ty cars. It's not like they were searching people's cars and arresting them. [/devils advocate]
