I feel bad for you guys living in Nazi-Land. I couldn't imagine dealing with that kinda crap. I just got an inspection with a Tint, FMIC, Intake, WGA, and Catless exhaust. Not a single question!

The sheriff saw the Helix DP, which cannot be seen in those shots. And according to him there's supposed to be a plaque of some sort on the intake manifold to confirm that it's OEM

I think its amazing these guys know what to look for. It damn near takes a mechanic to 'know' what to look for with that stuff. Even then, there are some mechanics that are completely oblivious to some performance parts/additions.

Can you really see it with the turbo heat shield on? I guess I will have to go look, I didn't think I could see my Invida DP. Good thing there are no Inspections or Emissions in Co Springs.

So far all I see is a post after a post after a post after a post about all this stuff in SoCal going on, and none of you is doing nothing about it. Pretty soon it would be illegal to drive an STi.

Why don't you guys write letters to the City, the county, the State Governor Office, stand up, say something. Do people with modified Corvettes and M3's that have loud exhaust get this bs? Of course not........

Or its like the stories ive heard for people being pulled over for their stock exhaust and getting a ticket, or getting hassled for the TMIC, yet they get out point at the STi on the TMIC, Door Panels, Seats, Stearing wheels, Foglight covers, trunk, exhaust lol.

Cops see hoodscoop, wing, gold rims = pull over!

Funny how California is the first state to start letting dope and illegal aliens go, while simultaneously turning all Nazi on modders.

Ive been to San Diego a couple times for work and I loved it there (compared to MS). But there are some things about the deep south I love and am thankful for.

The factory heatshield does nothing to hide the Helix DP

Will an SPT unit hide it? I can pass it off as a factory option.

That is exactly what i got pulled over for too, same exhaust and all. I got a fix it ticket to "noisy exhaust." I got it signed off and paid the 10 bucks. I then got pulled over again, but i got out of it. After that, i traded it and got an SPT... way better.
