I've wanted an Impreza WRX since I was 15. I got my STi a little after I turned 21. So... you CAN get it. just don't expect to get it so fast. slow down a bit.

Ok, this post was real funny A 15 year old kid should never get such a power full car. accidents are bound to happen for such a young kid. Showing off etc.

Tough i find it real funny that 25 year old STI owners on this forum say they don't trust them selves 100% to drive there car(STI), since i was 17,(21 now) i have had "power full cars and WRX's-STI's for 3 years, and i trust myself 100%, if people learn how to use there cars, on a track or a parking lot, learn how it reacts, in slides and such the driver will soon get the hang of it,

Every one in Iceland learns how to drive a Stick so thats not a problem for us. but its not that big of a deal learning how to drive one.

back on topic here--

since you are young and obviously your parents don't clearly know what an sti is -- you really should start with maybe an impreza L or maybe just a rs and work up to a sti when you finish college and funds are available

because honestly son we will be reading about you in the paper about another teenager killed in street racing or because you were driving like an idiot because you don't know how to handle the power of the car

my brothers friend got a mustang gt for his 16th birthday(brand new) and flipped it going up hill and total'd the car-lucky to be alive-now he wants a supra--if he couldn't handle 200 horsepower how could he handle 400 horsepower--

trust me take your time before you jump head first into a car ----my first car was a 84 nissan sentra with 84 horsepower and i wrecked it within 2 months--

my final fatherly advise is:
learn to drive a car first then progress up the horsepower level--take driving classes that the offer at local tracks--it helps on the track as well as the street
