I have been watching this thread without saying anything, since i dont know the buyer, the seller, and have no relation personally or through business with Topspeed or anyone else listed.....

I personally feel many are WAY out of line in this thread, especially bashing Burnin before he even had time to defend himself. I also learned the hard way in the past with buying moddified vehicles, which is why the purchase of my 07 brand new put the biggest smile on my face yet.... I wont say what i dealt with, because it wasnt a huge deal and doesn't effect this thread...

All of you bashers are enjoying tearing Burnin up because the car died shortly after it was purchased, but do any of you idiots stop to think that it was a mechanical issue and the likelyhood of the SAME mechanical failure would have probably happened to Burnin if he hadn't been selling the car?

It was an unfortunate occurance, and i again totally think that many people are way out of line in this thread, ESPECIALLY those attacking TopSpeed....

its just mind boggling how much this thread reminded me of NASIOC and the way people get eaten alive over there..

(i've already been called out once for people belonging to both forums, after stating that NASIOC is a hate filler forum, but i truly believe there are alot of hate filled individuals there who love to bash, im not saying its everyone, but there are enough to keep me from ever visiting and posting there)

If you feel like bashing me, go for it, know that you'll be ignored

People can say what they want, but the car failed after 4 hours! What ever happen to standing behind your work? And the seller, would it not be in the best interest do everyone involved to know the "TRUE" condition of the car?

is it possible that the hydra was in learing mode while being drivin with the added c16 and had advanced timing to much for 100% 93 gas?

I could not sleep knowing that my supposed perfect car blew up 4 hours after I sold it. I could not due such thing., Would you wont someone to do this to you ? Sell you a 10sec car and then it blows up in 4 f… hours man how can you defend your self by I sold it as is the f… car blew up in 4 f… hours not months but 4 hours. I honestly could not sleep knowing this I would give the guy many back and would apologize for selling something that blew up in 4 hours. I dont have any plans for the Z right now, but I do have a local shop that specialzes in vettes (RWTD). If I ever own another subaru, Doug will be my tuner.

I've been here on this site since July, 04 and not once have I seen a derogatory thread or post against burnin4. I can understand the frustration of the buyer but this is way out of line......

Yeah, this was a major sticking point over at the other place (and for me).

glad I didn't buy it for my own sake, I couldn't afford to build the motor again

and another axis motor pops

got 15k on my built element tuning motor and a 35R

I don't think Topspeed is totally to blame I think Ron@axis' motor is more to blame

The whole pcv system was trashed and hooked up wrong and was kinked and leaking oil. The vacume hose for the BPV was to big and not on the vacume port and the car was setting po300,301,302,304 misfire codes and was not building boost till 4k rpm. the rear o2 sensor was not hooked up. has a hex in the ecm to not have the cel on done through matts opensource tunning. the boost control solinod brackets where missing and just floping around the engine compartment. A vacume hose was laying down on the front halfshaft. The turbo inlet tube was a hacked up mess. All of the vacume and pcv nipples were broke off, bolts jammed in the holes and blue rtv silicon put over the bolts and BLACK ELECTRICAL TAPE covering them. I fixed the car and got it runing properly and we sold it. The next day the lady that bought it was driving home from work and took off from a 4 way stop and BANG the tranny gernaded. So we got to put a tranny in it. I have some pics of the mess Matt and 555motorsports did to this car. He talks all this **** on you, topspeed, ect and he does worse to his cars and nobody knows about it. It is kinda ironic. His old 07 wrx is a complete pile of ****. I feel bad for the lady that bought it. Just thought I would let you know that most people around cannot stand him and I was so irritated after reading that tread and then it was locked so I could not tell people what a d bag Matt Cater is. Anyways sorry to bug you just thought I would try and tell you how much of a tool this guy is and I wish you would not help him at all. He is a champagne ho with kool aid money and knows nothing about cars. He isn't fixing the engine, someone else is. If you have any questions feal free to ask.
