Stupid Dealer Might Have F*cked me?

Hey guys, So I went to the dealer to check out the new 2008 WRX's and the stupid dealer came running out and was annoying me right off the bat. Well for ****s and giggles he took my VIN number and mileage to go run the numbers to see what trade in was for my 2006 STI. I dont want to sell it but I was just curious. He wrote the numbers and ran inside like an idiot. He came out as I was about to leave and told me $24,100 I said cool, then I left. Anyways I have the copy of the sheet he had and I realized he wrote down I have 22,304miles when in fact I have 32,304. Am I going to get my car a odometer fraud title? I didnt think anything of it till my buddy made a joke about Car Fax and I was like oh ****, that stupid bastard!

Help clear this up for me guys...

No chance. I bet he just looks at a database with price info related to your vehicles year and mileage.

ha ha ok, I was freaking out... If I got flagged for fraud or something stupid I would have gone back and waited for that moron with a bat. I was just curious because he took the VIN and something Kelly Blue Book doesn't ask for that.

No way man, I would seriously run a carfax, I bet your car has rollover on carfax now. I would be pissed!

I used to work at a car dealer, all he did was run into the manager, give him yuor car/year/mileage and the manager gave the sales guy the trade-in value and that's it.

Dealerships have nothing to do with that. The only way you will get caught with fraud is if your last odomoter reading on your registration or something similar doesn't match your new one.

He ran your info thru Karpower. It like KBB. It uses your VIN to decode your options. Your fine.
