def try ebaymotors....many people know about it and you will def have to give it quite some time due to this economic crisis...nonetheless, i sold my volvo s40 t5 with 45k miles for 25k (there were some mods done to it also)...guy who bought it all the way from Nebraska flew to Jersey (my home state) and drove it back cross country and it was up on ebaymotors and autotrader for about 1.5 months...if your really firm then just stick to it as long as you possibly can...i had many offers even coming just 1500 short but i was very very firm with my 25k asking price which in the end was what i got

The economy is in the tank right now, so the market is going to be thin on car purchases new or used.

Yeah, I'm glad I sold my house right before the bubble burst.

i think craigslist is your best bet
the price sounds reasonable to me
id be wary of parking your car anywhere and leaving it with a for sale sign
even if the shop had cameras
cars.com?

I think right now will be a difficult time to sell. I think the majority of people right now are looking to buy Hybrids not sporty cars, due to gas prices. Not to mention the economy. Your miles are in the ballpark, but you'll still have gunshy folks w/it being out of warranty. Not sure if you're the original owner so that would either be good or bad for you @ that price. Just my 2 cents

Good luck w/the sale.

Good luck with the sale Crewchief! (Price seems good) I asked you on another thread why you were selling and couldn't imagine a good enough reason!

However......when I finally got out of credit card debt it was a truly amazing feeling and is definitely a great reason to sell the car. I wish you the best luck and hope you stick around after you sell!

Keep Sti, Pay off CC, Skip Z06, buy house.

I don't know if it makes sense to pay of CC debt just to go and spend MORE on a more expensive car even though zo6 is awesome! Just my opinion

This is a good time to buy a house though.

I think it is a couple of things. The economy sucks right now as everyone has mentioned and typically people want to pay a little less than what a car is worth. I think you are just slightly higher than what you should be. But I also went through the same thing with my Blazer when I was trying to sell it and get the STI. I didnt get any bites and I was advertising everywhere. I was also a few 1000 under bluebook. I think it is the market more than anything else. Good luck with the sale crew.

I think if the KBB value for an "excellent" car is what you are selling it at, then that's definately too high. Excellent literally means perfect to most places and perfect woudl mean no rock chips, no a single dent anywhere, etc etc. Most likely you'll have to look at selling at KBB value for a "good" car. I sold an RX-8 that had 7,000 miles on it. It was babied, perfectly maintained, and I thought flawless. I listed the car for a little under the "excellent" KBB value and got nothing. People came and were like...theres a single chip here. A single chip. That's techinically enough for some anal people to disqualify "excellent" status. So I was forced to sell at "good" value.
