subie sport mag

i went to the dealer's parts dept and saw the magazine. had the vivid racing 08 wrx on the cover. i thought to myself, "wow, a cool subaru oriented magazine!! i gotta get one" so i paid $6 (i think that was the cover price) for the magazine. took it home and opened it up, theres pages and pages filled with other peoples subarus from car meets taking up the majority of the magazine. then theres a short article on the cover car and some other bs filler stuff taking up space and wasting paper. after flipping through it once, i tossed the mag aside and haven't even looked at it since. what a $hitty magazine!

just yesterday i bought this import tuner mag (name of mag escapes me right now cuz its at home) with the same vivid racing wrx on the cover and that magazine did a nice write up of the car with many many moer pictures that the subie sport did not have. then the import tuner mag had other articles on previous models of wrx and sti through out the magazine.

anyone else find that subiesport mag a waste of paper? i doubt i'll buy another one in the future.

PS, didn't know exactly where this thread belongs so maybe a moderator can kindly move this thread to whichever section fits best if need be.

I like it.... that did have abunch of useless stuff in it but usually the have some good articles.

I got something in the mail yesterday with Colin McRae on the front of it. It has a cool 08 STI guide toward the back of it

I love the mag, the last issue featured all of OUR cars throughout the pages. It was a special issue that allowed for many local groups to host a meet last October and submit the photos. I hosted the NJ meet and took all those pics

well, i think it would have been a special issue for me too if a pic of my car was in it. i just think it was really lacking in content and substance. what would have added to the content is maybe if they took one car or two out of all the meets and did a feature on them with photo and blurb. that would have been better than seeing 500 small pictures of someone else's ride.
