A RWD 335 will most definitely take an STi stock for stock. A stage 2 STi on the other hand would be able to take a 335. Now if you're talking a stage 2 335 though, say bye bye STi. 335s are putting down some bad ass #s with a new exhaust and tune.

I would imagine that the STi would have to upper hand. The BMW is rated at 300hp and 300trq, but it ways 3571lbs. Our cars are rated at 300hp and 300trq as well but are around 300lbs lighter. A stage 2 STi be rated at around 290-300 WHP and 300-310 torque I would say we have the upper hand!!!

with price difference you can make a 10 second sti just have to give up a few luxuries

I would imagine ..A stock STI will win 0-60....and close on the quarter-mile........
If one wants a fast Autobahn cruiser.....Sti is not the Way to go.....I personally enjoy every-day real-world ~ QUICK-NESS When need.....All depends on driver and road conditions.......Stage 2....no contest.

Stage 2 STi should have the upper hand as you say. I just wanted to remind the world that the 335 has its 300ft lb from 1500RPM. I doubt the STI, even a stage 2, hits that level of torque until at least 2500RPM. That does alot to make up for the weight difference when it comes to times. Not baggin' on the STi at all...just forever impressed by the 335's torque curve

Has anyone made a TT kit for newer STis that can produce that lower torque because...getting 300ft-lb at 1500 rpm is ridiculous.

I'm Running a full Cobb Stage 2 catted DP and my buddy had a 335i with a procede stage one on it and it was a a dam close but once he went stage 2 "after the dealing with car going in limp mode all the time" once that was fixed with custom map for free from Vishnu Performance for the procede.
The car will stomp all over my car now the power that car has is amazing.

But he cant keep up with me in the canyons
The freaking car has too much power and just wants to kick out the rear-end on every turn

no need for more turbos untill you add more cylinders or a lot of displacement
