IF Subaru gave us enthusiasts a -choice for the next STI model (2010) which would you choose?
Here is the choice: (1) Same 305hp as the 09 but....the Handling upgrades are perfect and "nothing" under $110,000 - gets even close to its agility.

(2) Subaru gave this version 365 hp ...but the handling is the same as the previous years.

Subaru did this to keep cost down.....both Cars still under $38,500.

Which would YOU choose? Number 1 or Number 2 ~only~ please no if"s, an"s & but"s. Thanks!

No one wants 1? w/ some minor mods + tune you can make up that 60 horse.... and have the agility and handling to boot....

But with some minor mods you can make up the suspension. My vote is for 2 also.

Forget #2. With the right suspension, 305hp is fine. Not to mention it's easy to get more power.

#1 should come with:

Better alignment specs
ALK-style change to the front suspension (i.e. eliminate the anti-lift geom.)
GroupN bushings from bumper to bumper
24mm Front sway, 26mm Rear
Prodrive springs +bumpstops
Prodrive DCCD from the P2.

Handling FTW. The extra power would't be enough for enthusiasts at any rate.

Hmm the way I see it. More HP and speed = buy suspension upgrades = your good to go. Keep the stock handling and HP = upgrade for power and speed = your good to go.
