Highest Milage on STi

Dare I ask since I've been gone?? I've been creeping up once agin, but nothing extraordinary. I have ~23k miles on her now.

I feel like it'll be a little bit until I catch my old mark of 130k. Soon enough though. She's suprisingly still stock other than sways/endlinks.

So, whos sitting where.

Oh and this is an '07 (bought in June 07) for those who forgot what I have.

I'm at 99K on the 05'...Hope to make it over the 100K mark before anything brakes. Maybe I should just put it back to stock and drive it till it dies.

what mods do you currently have on your car?

OP....I have had my car for over 2 years now and 22,600 in repairs and I am surprisingly running well at 30k on the clock and plan to beat your former record

I sold my 04 yesterday with 136,000kms. Took the money and ran. I'll have another one after I get my GT-R. Sad to see it go, but it was a great deal, $28,000 as is(stg 2)

I thought you'd be at/near my old mark by now!! You stg2? On the old 04 I had all bolt ons when I traded her in. I think it was ultimatly the stock turbo that gave way(that was after 75k on stg2).

MPower- I hope someone will crush that mile mark. I plan on keeping mine stock, maybe just AP since the 07 runs lean.

All together (including my 04 and 07) I have about 170,000 miles behind the wheel of an STi.

Too bad I still drive like a newbie.

Same thing here. I took th $14k and ran. Especially since I was the only STi well over the 100k mark. What's the conversion from km to miles?? I've always been horrible with metric to our corny american system.

I am sitting at 47,110 and counting. I drive 72 miles a day to and from work. I have had the car about 2 yrs. Its modified but have had 0 problems

. Oh wait, my heat shield welds came apart on my upipe but other than that it has been smooth sailing. Driving it till the wheels fall off (not in an autocross). Keep posting those miles.

On my '04 I'm at 119,100 miles as of today. Almost time for the 3rd timing belt. It's more or less stock, except for sways, short shifter, typhoon, exhaust (cat-back) and some other little things. Every time I start looking at accessports or suspension, I need tires (I'm on my sixth set), brakes, or some other maintenance.

I really haven't had too many problems. Just a tension pulley on the timing belt, the front left wheel bearing, and a drive shaft. Normal wear and tear items.

The car will be paid off in a few months, then I can save up for some mods. First will be a new suspension. The stock is killing me.

ah it makes me so happy to hear of these 04s with 100k+ miles on them. i'm at about 62k now and plan to keep her forever.

1.6km/mile 160,000km/100,000mile. I wasn't looking forward to replacing the factory original clutch, brakes, timing belt, water pump and on and on and on. New GT-R on order, then I'll pick up another STi. It's gone, but not forgotten.

Seriously? No one has more than 130k miles? I thought subaru's were bulletproof for life, not just the first 75k miles. What normally breaks first in these cars? What is the lifetime of the timing belt and water pump? Turbo? Anyone have a suggested maintenance schedule link?

Well my 05 STi is only at 23k miles. My 02 WRX on the otherhand, is at 174,000KM's. Still runs like a champ to, its Cobb Stage 2.

This is an STi only Forum. Thus, if the Sti avail. were here in the states longer than it has been im sure you would see some sick numbers
