Default vf48 turbo swap

I'm planning to maybe swap my vf52 for a vf48 off an sti question is should I do it? What are the benefits of the vf48 turbo? Wanting to be making at least over 350hp range on stock motor.

Mods:
id1000cc
GS EBCS
Invidia n1
Tomei ELH
DW65 fuel pump
Invidia catted DP
AEM intake.

350whp may be possible with those mods with either turbo but it would have to be running E85 fuel. You wont hit 350whp with a stock sti turbo with supporting mods on pump fuel. I think if you upgrade to a Dom 1.5 and better or even a 20G turbo you should be able to hit that number give or take on pump fuel.

If your going to upgrade to bigger turbo, might as well add turbo inlet, tgv deletes, and upgraded intercooler. Try an get as much as possible in one shot.

I'm not really sure why you're wanting to swap the turbo... They are about the same size and you don't mention anything about an intercooler, which will have to change between the two turbos.

That's the mods I have now currently but from what I heard from people go with a 20g, which I'm leaning more towards to get 350-400hp on e85. And I do plan on getting a GS TMIC with the new stock location turbo.

If you're going to swap, I would go with the 20G or better. Understand, your transmission will not like it.

Clutch? I'd worry about a clutch.
