IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2004 | Ran them on two separate occasions on two different tracks and can say this about them. Once they are up to temp the grip is actually quite nice. I ran them at Watkins Glen back in July while going through instructor training and more recently at NJMP Lightning in cooler temps. In July while they were new the tires actually performed fairly well, but the car overall really wasn't too great however at NJMP I decided to tighten the rear sway bar and try again. What a difference a couple k makes and a suspension adjustment does. This time I ran the tires down like I would my R-Compounds like magic they hung as though I had track tires. The Hankooks never really squealed, but once a lap or two was complete they really gave you a sense of confidence that without traction control could get you in trouble as I had the traction control kick on a few times. Overall, a great tire! |
