IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2005 | So I'm going in tomorrow to get my alignment after the PDE plates were installed. Do any of you have suggestions as to whats a good alignment for the street or autox? I have 245/45 rt-615, pinks, PDE plates, Group N rear mounts, and hotchkis competition sways. I'm only concerned about tire wear on the street with the best all around alignment. I was thinking around -2.75 for the fronts for autox and around -2.0 for the street. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 | Since you have plates, I would do this... Have it set so that for the street, your front setting is toe IN by about .1, and your camber is about -2.0. When you go to the track, use your plates to push it out another -.5 to about -2.5. From what I'm told, you get roughly .1 degrees of toe out for every additional .25 degrees of camber. So this will also give you a touch of toe out. If you want even more camber and more toe out, push the camber out even more. Look for posts by Scott Seigel. I got this idea from him and there's more information out there on it. |
