IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2004 | I think blue lugs on a WRB car is acceptable. NeoGross on gray with black... meh... I guess his JDM balls are tingling And yeah, our cars are flashy/ricey stock I was just being an ***. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 | If his balls are tingling, it has nothing to do with being JDM. Sounds like tinea cruris aka Jock Itch. |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2006 | Nice choice in wheels I was the first one on forums to have these wheels and they look sick in my opinion congrats and enjoy them. Also be very careful with them because if you scratch them touch up paint will be hard to find. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2007 | Alright everyone I got my Prodrive Springs installed two weekends ago. Install went fairly smooth.. took me about 4 hours to do it all with the help of my friend. Both of us have never done springs before so it was a learning experience for the both of us! I still don't seem to notice much of a difference in the ride hight even after allowing 10 days for the springs to settle. I can, however, say that I have noticed quite the difference in ride quality! Bobblehead syndrome has been reduced greatly! If you are looking to help soften your ride and get rid of some bobblehead, $300 on prodrive springs is well worth it IMHO Last night I installed my Hella Supertones. I didn't have any issues installing those, and am pleased with how they look in the grill. I spray painted them Cherry Blossom Red to match the STi lettering found around the car. I think it looks good, let me get some opinions! I like honest opinions.. if you don't like it, let me know.. I'm not going to be mad, just would like to guage what people think! Spring Pics: Hella Pics: I will be doing some detailing this weekend so I will get some pics up of the complete detailed ride so everyone can see how it not looks with the springs. IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 | You didn't need to use the spring compressor to put the rear springs on. It looks like in the pic of the rear strut with the compressors on it that the dust shield isn't properly attached. Did you repack you struts with grease while you had them off? People are probably going to want to see a side profile shot on the new springs. |

I did make sure that the dust shield was in the correct position when I but them back on.. it just got moved around while working on the struts. I did grease up both rear struts while they were off... strut clunk ftl I was going to take side profile shots, but honestly, I am emberrased with the cleanliness of my car and wanted to wait until after I detail her this weekend ... so everyone who wants side shots.. your going to have to suffer for a few more days | |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2007 | Well I planned on fully detailing my car with the whole Zaino kit this weekend, allowing myself about 8 hours to work to wash and detail the whole thing..... Sad to say it took me 9 hours just to wash and claybar my car!!!!! Claybarring took forever and it took alot of elbow grease to get my paint looking new again Biggest problem I was having was specs of white paint that were splattered ALL OVER my car.. it took alot of time to get them all out. I guess I will have to get to the Zaino part some other weekend After clay barring I took the car down to the Quarrys for some evening photo shoots. Looks like the Prodrive springs have settled and the car is sitting nicely now! Enjoy!!! I'm using the last pic as my new wallpaper Last edited by Gondy; 03-04-2009 at 08:00 AM.. |
