I think he's going to recommend you run a Motul oil afterwards... They make good oil btw.

Hmm well I will continue with my light engine breaking and I will consult Dylan's opinion as well. I noticed they are stocked up pretty well on Motul lubricants at DS1 so I figured he would recommend Motul . I'm just hoping he stocks it because he believes it is the best oil for built engines (or our engines in general).

My tuner/shop recommends Motul and I use it of course in my car. Never burned a drop.

I run 5w40 btw.

From what I hear it is a very good oil. Better than other synthetics.

motul is a true group 5 synthetic. so yes of course its going to be amazing oil but are the limits of the oil really matched on the street? no...im sure timmy will give u his opinion of it. i believe he used to run motul on track days.

the oil is not going to be cheap if u dont mind paying a ton to run a group 5 synthetic driving to work and back. more power to you.

It's honestly not that bad price wise IMO. I dunno, to each their own.

I like putting the best in my car, but I completely understand where you are coming from.

yeah im running german castrol so i believe in putting quality products in my car. from the data ive gathered i think the gc is actually better for daily driving than the motul fluids. bitog is your friend

I haven't updated in a long time since I got the car back after my engine rebuild. I did finally get 1500 miles on the new engine and had Matt @ DS1 road tune for me. The car definitely pulls again, something I forgot the feeling of after driving on a blown engine for like half a year. The sound of the Equal Length headers grew on me and I think I may like it better now. WOT is super loud, I probably draw a lot of attention .

Had an install meet at my place yesterday with Timmy and Bob to install my Coilovers, sways and endlinks, SS brake lines and a bleed. There were set backs throughout the day, bolts that wouldn't come off so they got sawed off, putting the coilovers on the wrong sides and having to switch, puncturing a whole through the rear strut top hat covers because they needed to be removed (picture will explain).

The car is ALOT lower now on the cos. There is massive camber and toe in the front, that needs to get worked on in the alignment. Timmy noticed that the front springs were assembled on the rear cos and vice versa.. the shop that installed the cos for Ricky didn't do a very competant job. Ricky maybe that is why the rears needed rebuilding? Anyway we didn't figure this out until too late so I'm sitting on the car with the F & R springs swapped on the struts so on Monday we will be taking them off and fixing that.

Here are pictures, I am going to wash the car today so I will post some nice clean pics of the car on the coilovers later.

OH yeah, forget to mention I found a kid in Cleveland to swap trunks with me!!! Finally wingless

Stock Sway:

Timmy getting frisky with my Jack

Don't forget to remove the rear covers when installing coilovers LOL

Forgot to mention I de-stickered and de-badged everything off the car. The only thing left is the small STI in the front right grill, which might be going also. This will be better seen after I post some pics after I go was the car here in a little bit.
