Yup its just fine, taking it easy and staying out of boost and just babying it until I can do the engine swap

Actually not really. Since I stopped beating on it, it has barely ate any oil. When I was still driving spiritedly, I did consume about 1/2 a bottle of oil over the course of an oil change.

I am too. Right now it seems I'm going to be taking the buy a new block w/ forged pistons and swap blocks route, and then sell the old block. If that's the case I will probably need to take the old apart before I sell it to assess its condition.. if that's the case your more than welcome to come by and look for yourself, otherwise I'll take pics whenever I do get to see what that cylinder wall looks like.
