Why does a noise bother you?

Did you read up on wastegate flutter? It is not a bad thing.

I started reading up on wastegate flutter after your last post and came to that realization. I wasn't sure how problematic the flutter was.. Since I was hearing a new noise that I wasn't having before I just assumed something is wrong.

perhaps the bov is not properly adjusted.

Here's some advice i've wanted to give you from the beginning. Get the Forge BPV. Now you just have to sell the Tial or return it or something.

Your late on the advice buddy

I am questioning if the bov is properly adjusted. I sent Jorge an email this morning with my concerns.. we'll see what he chimes in with.

The key difference here..

A stock BPV is not designed to be that tight or to cause any sort of compressor stall.

The Tial with the 11lb spring is designed and thought out to hold pressure like that. That maximizes respool between shifts while still allowing a proper vent otherwise.

My argument here is that the stock BPV wasn't venting right, at ANY time. More then likely due to a kink in the return line (the tentative suspect).

take a video.

my wastegate flutters more after my protune, but that's probably due to the fact i'm running about 5 more psi. it only flutters at WOT in 5th and 6th though, not when letting off the throttle.

Will do.. although it won't be much of a quality video since I have to use my digital camera (don't own a camcorder).

Seems different than my symptoms because I only hear flutter when I let off the gas and blow-off, and it will flutter at any boost/engine speed/gear combination that I have tried.
