THank you for answering this questoin..., i have asked numerous times as to why people stretch their tires always to not get an answer other than "clearance"... final this explains the reasoning.

i agree w/ munky.... to some it may look weird, and it does somewhat in my book.... but its different and hes pushing the envelope... he set a goal and looks like he achieved it... great IMO that he did this, it does make the car look a tad, different, but if its his taste, more power to him....

Just curious, i dont remember if it was in here or another thread, but could t3h_clap or someone else address whether or not a wide wheel, and wide tires w/ an aggressive fitment (fender mods, aggressive offset) is beneficial for things like auto-x?

I love it, I think I already said it on nasioc.

What's the section width on the 265? Tread width? I saw you replied about the camber, is there any chance you can find out how much front and rear? And was it neccessary to modify the camber plates on the coilovers to fit?

I know, so many questions. I want 18x10's now, but I think I may just stay with my 9.5's and make the car as low as possible with front having a lower offset than the rear. lol

No you didnt! haha now you did hehe.

Well the thing is I'm not sure where to measure it from for the tread width. The section width is 10.7 just like most of the 265s. So if you going to use Re01r im sure it will be fine. I will find out the camber when I do the alignment.

Well the thing about the stance camber plate is they add a little metal ring with the bolt thats why is blocking me to get them both close together. So as long as you take that ring out you are fine or just change to some different bolt to lock it. You can see it few post up.

9.5 is good. get lower offset like +22.. heheeheeeee

Oh btw if you didnt fit your 9.5 yet. Nojeebs 9.5 have to pull the rear fender and his fender edge are all cut but still rub with out pulling. He only pulled a little tho compare to mine.

Holly siht you have Soooo much camber in the front! Can I borrow some? ..And do you have like a sharpie line on yr rear fender where you pulled them, or is that just a shadow?

I step it up(so does many more ppl using 9.5 and such) and use 1" more on the wheel and I'm able to 3 sizes up the tires and my car is as low as most of the car. That was my goal to use as wide as possible on the rims and the tires on the stock body. Also lower the car as much as possible. Thats what so call aggressive fitments. Also I used +35 because I want less poke also but thats all the tires I can fit.

I also step up on what you other people want for the 17s with big bad wide tires also. I know how to do both but just not doing on the same car.

Starting to look like my garage...
