That list sounds good so far. Maybe throw on a header/uppipe for more powa! Just make sure that you don't buy a header/uppipe combo that fits the stock location and then go rotated as you will need a new uppipe. The Gruppe-S is pretty affordable and you can purchase it w/o an uppipe if you want to go rotated.

On another note, I don't like the Chargespeed roof vane either. It is too big without some sort of wing on the trunk.

Hey Alex, Thanks for the advice. Okay cause I'm not sure what I want for turbo but I do think it is going to be either gt30 or 35r so it going to be rotated. Hmm I might want to do this pretty decent price with out the uppipe. Still got the rumble sound. I wront have to worry about this if I go gt30 right?

the majority of the rotated 30 kits are useable w/ the OEM unequal length headers.... Perrin has a kit, but i heard fitment is crappy or VERY tight.... after i figure out what im doing w/ my current mod situation, ill be saving up for the Crawford Performance 30R kit, good fitment, good kit from what i've seen and heard.... Talk to modaddict about 30/35R since he has had both. Flycaster i believe is also using a Perrin 30R....

Price list, pretty good one too (insert your own prices where it applies)
http://www.iwsti.com/forums/engine-p...perrin-et.html

This is a list of threads that are very helpfull when choosing / researching a turbo upgrade
http://www.iwsti.com/forums/engine-p...-stickies.html

and this is the specific link i went to when researching my 30R decision
http://www.iwsti.com/forums/engine-p...g-30r-35r.html

Like i said, contact some other people who already have a 30 / 35R and get some feedback from them Modaddict has been MORE than helpful when it has come to my research, and i plan on referencing ALOT from him when it comes to buying my kit

Not a problem. If you ever have a question feel free to ask, if i can answer it, i might know where to find the info or someone who does
I suggest reading the Perrin vs. Crawford thread because it's modaddict's comparison thread.... also check out his journal.... good view on how the Perrin kit, for the money, will get the job done. But for an awesome kit w/ no fitment issues and top quality items that come heat coated etc.... Crawford is the way to go... i read and read, then asked questions, and surfed crawford's and perrin's sites and decided i liked the CP kit better... little more spendy, but easily worth it to me

I talk to my tuner. Ed is not really picky about parts. Here is the list what we came out with. Also I have decided going for gt30r setup later on.

-Boost gauge and EGT gauge
He said he use his own wideband for tuning and EGT is another point of reference.

-AEM meth kit + dds3 (My picks & he approved)
I asked him about HFS-5 he told me is little too expensive. So I asked him about AEM kit he told me AEM will do so I will get that because I got super deal on it. 280ish brand new.

-Hallman pro rx

-boost solenoid just to use for the meth failsafe
I guess he prefer MBC so we are not using any BCS but I will add one to use the failsafe. This way I can still drive up there with out a tune also.

-Gruppe-s header (My picks & he approved)
Wanted to keep the boxer rumble and still able to handle gt30r. He said no problem with this.

-EWG Tial 38mm & uppipe
I wanted to add this cause my 07. I just want to make sure the overboost and stuff GONE from the tune and mechanically. He told me EWG is not necessary to avoid boost creep but I have enough overboost! that need to be gone! plus it add power and all.. have to resell the uppipe later tho..

So here is the list of mod for my stage 2 tune. Hope I'm doing it right this time and get some good powerband.

07 STi
-AP Stage 2
-Invidia V3 catless Downpipe
-Invidia G200
-K&N Typhoon Short Ram.
-Walbro Fuel Pump.
-NGK plugs

-AEM meth kit +dds3
-Hallman pro rx
-Gruppe-s header
-EWG Tial 38mm & uppipe

Any thoughts and comment are welcome cause I still got like a month before the tune.

You know the uppipe and ewg aren't going to work on the 30r kit you want, right? If you are set on it, check out the Element Tuning uppipe, it is great quality.
