are you going custom cage??? I'm actually in the process of hunting down a local guy thats "sworn" by in my area. Pretty decent quote, although I'm only doing the back half for now as I still drive my car on the weekends. Will you be removing your rear door cards??? I'm concerned with my cage welded in that I won't have enough room to shut the door.

Also I found a place through specialstage.com that has the Cobra Imola S seats for cheap dollars!!!! Now I need to put all the moneys in and get this done!

I've considered mass producing them and selling them. I've gotten a lot of requests to buy one - I will probably make some this winter and sell for around $100

all door cards stay in - if you look at the rally america rules doorcards are required. I'm having a local rally shop custom make the cage. It's actually cheaper than having and pre-built FIA homologated cage shipped and installed.

just did a rallyx this weekend, here's a teaser

Really, is it that expensive? I have no idea how to do it, just heard it's the first step to upgrading to a true off road car.

seam welding an entire chasis is highly time consuming and time = money. I will likely stitch some of the more high stress areas together but not the entire chasis
