Needless to say, I am pleasantly surprised. Lookin' forward to updates! Enough jibba jabba though, did you find yourself to be competitive as a beginner in the M4 class with an STi, or is that where most people end up after they have done Rallycross for years?
m4 will obviously be the fastest class in general (skilled drivers in other classes can be just as fast or faster than the m4 group though). my first rallyx I was very slow (like 17 out of 25). the next one I was much faster (either 9th or 10th out of a similar sized field). after that I've usually been in the top 5 fastest times. high horsepower isn't much of an advantage in rallyx. the dccd definately is a plus though.

I actually have a bs in mechanical engineering (with an electrical engineering minor) but work as a manufacturing engineer

redid the lightbar to hold 2 700ff's and 2 4000's

excuse the ugly welds - none of us have all that much welding experience. it is extremely strong (you can jump up and down on it and the bar does not move - instead the whole car moves)

I also installed 2 map lights

unfortunately none of the wiring is connected on anything right now - i need to run to the store to get some supplies. probably early next week
fire extinguisher mounted

As always, looking great!

What kinds of looks do people give you on the street when you drive around in it?
