finished modifying the heater core/blower motor to clear the cage.
I removed the a/c exchanger and cut off most of the housing (I also shortened the pipes for the heater core)

then i fabbed up a sheetmetal cover for it, caulked it and fastened it down

on the blower side I took a rubber exhaust boot and cut it down so i could cram it inside

and here's a look at how it all fits together

would a cop pull you over instantly if one spotted you on the road?

I read that WRC cars are street legal and sometimes they drive them to the different courses.

I guess the only thing that wouldn't be legal were your tires and maybe your engine mods?

Have you dyno'd this beast? if so, what are the numbers? what engine mods are in it?

stage 2 - BUT, the car is being converted to N/A to comply with Open Light rules. rally tires aren't DOT but you're right, that's about the only thing
