IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2006 | right on! stick w/ your plan and you will be a happy man. although might i suggest something a little more substantial in the spring/strut dept. i followed the route you have layed out almost exactly on my car and am looking at something to adjust corner wheights and damper settings. although all the good suspension setups worth considering cost well over $2k so i'll be saving for a while. good luck. and you have a PM for the informeter!!!! |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2005 | I can't seem to sell the greddy infometer. I guess it is probably because I am too honest with people and tell them that it freezes from time to time. Today I decided that I would probably end up keeping it so I decided to fix one of its problems. LCD screens and polarized lenses don't mix. LCD lenses and tint make for a trippy rainbow filled experience. Some links that explain it better than I can: http://forum.brighthand.com/archive/...hp?t-9795.html http://sunglasses.lovetoknow.com/Polarized_Sunglasses Basically I am unable to read the informeter in it's proper horizontal orientation with my sun glasses on. So, I mounted the device on the knob for the AC vent and it is rotatable. Pictures (I'll soon have my own website to host these on. I thought about paying flickr or smugmug for hosting but I can get my own domain name + private dns registration from 1and1 for about the same amount of $) |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2005 | Yeah, so the plan slowed down due to the whole job situation thing. That doesn't mean I don't get to tinker though. I lined the coin holder thing with felt the other day because the jingling of coins all the time got to me. I guess I CAN be detail oriented sometimes. Hopefully I'll roll into work tomorrow and I'll have an email about a job. If all goes well I'll be working just a couple of buildings away doing exactly what I want to do. Picture: |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2005 | 2 things today 1) I tested out the in-car video setup. It works pretty well. You can check it out here: View My Video First to second sounds like I'm doing something wrong. I have no idea why. It doesnt make that horrible sound in real life. 2) I was over at a friends and his roomate happend to have the same headunit that i have. Finally I was a ble to get it out of demo mode!
