Default meffie's 06 STi, 458hp, 493tq e85, New Suspension Parts in!

Hey guy's. I've been really slacking on getting a journal started, so I'm going to just post a timeline up to current.

3-11-06

Happy Day. I drove 200 miles to Albuquerque, NM to spend the weekend out of town with my wife. I was also planning on looking at cars for future purchase. I have quite a few picked out, and went and test drove them saving the STi for last. After 5 hours of ground pounding test driving I arrived @ the Subaru dealership and fell in love.

I immediately spotted my SGM STi sitting out front just calling to me. I walked over to it, and it immediately whispered to me and told me to take it home. So I walk in the dealership and find a salesman and ask to take a test drive...

Do you remember the thrill of your first kiss? The first sunset spent with the person you love? The moment I turned that key I fealt that feeling again and I knew I had to have this car. 2 hours later she was mine.

I have made the decision to have my STi dyno tuned for a few reasons. First I live @ 5700 elevation, and secondly only 91 octane is available to me, so I wanted to make sure my car ran healthly. That's when I decided to take a 8 hour road Trip to Cobb Tuning in Salt Lake City, UT. I also decided that if I was going to dyno tune the car, I might as well add some power.

4-22-06

Stage II here I come. After ordering a APS Catless 3" exhaust, Cobb AP, and Cobb Pulley's I set off for Salt Lake. Upon arriving I decided I wanted an intake also, and opted for Cobb's as I was right there. They were in the testing phase of their new Intake, and happened to be out of the main production intakes, so I got their new Prototype.

After it was all said and done, I pulled 264hp/287 ft/lbs @ 4700' elevation on Cobb's in house Mustang. Christian stated that this dyno reads even lower than they're Mustang @ the track, and I should be pushing almost 300 ft/lbs @ the wheels. Not bad results.

Now as if I wasn't excited enuff to add 80 or so Torque to my car, I leave Cobb @ 5:30 PM, in the middle of Rush hour!!! Nothing like dropping that kind of cash on a car, then driving 10 miles an hour.

However shortly after I was able to open her up, and boy did she run. I must say I am extremely happy I drove to Christian. He will be doing all my tuning in the future.

So here's some pics for you

I tried to post those as thumbnails, but didn't seem to work, can someone PM me the syntax so I can make them smaller for dialup people. Also more to come in the timeline, I'm just trying to make it appear in order. Thanks guys, just bare with me.

Ordered my Defi Imperial Ambers Today with the Clock Pod. Can't wait on those!!!!

Everything's coming along smoothly. Now that I've got some basic Power I'm going to be doing more visually. Wish me luck! And any opinions welcome.
