Pic of my car with the Swift springs installed:

Pics of the new Borla XR-1 catback (with Kartboy extended length hangers):

I got the hangers way back to stop the stock catback from hitting my rear swaybar. The stock ones couldn't stop the lighter ebay catback from moving around, so I used the kartboys on that too. Then I just carried them over onto the Borla, although I may get regular length ones so the muffler isn't as exposed. We'll see.

Here is a video of the Borla at idle:

Much quieter than the N1-style ebay catback. I like it a lot. It gets louder under throttle and brings out the boxer rumble better and deeper.

8/7/06 Update:

Had the RE070's put back on the car last month along with the Whiteline Camber Bolts. I got them to align the car for me and install the bolts up front. Ended up with -1.6 camber F/ -1.3 camber R/ 0 degree toe F and R and 4.6 degrees of caster. The steering wheel got a lot lighter with these settings and the car is an absolute BLAST to drive. I love the Swift and Whiteline combo a lot. I also put in subframe outrigger bushings to complete the TiC Klunk Killer setup. They made a nice difference and the rear of the car feels a lot more stable and connected to my right foot. The gain in NVH is there but the drivetrain isn't any louder than my old Mustang. Perfectly acceptable.

Thats not what this update is all about though...

Today I received this in the mail:

JDM Rear Spats from the GB on here! I wasn't planning on any appearance mods until later, but the GB came along at $100 cheaper than normal so I had to order these. I'm not putting them on yet though....I want to put on an APR rear diffuser first. That's another 2-3 months away though, so until then, enjoy!
