Awesome looking car, great to hear you're happy with it, and all the great amenities it has.

Don't listen to the haters, it's just a car .

Throw some aggressive rims on it and the exterior should be set IMO.

I just read this whole journal. I looked it up because I remembered your great thread on your RCE T2's. You basically modded your car right along with what I have and I am looking into getting the RCE T2's now so I thought I would readup on them. Thanks for keeping tabs on all your parts and experiences it has given me a good feeling for mods I want and haven't done yet.

BTW, you would have LOVED a 20g with a big TMIC. I do.

Sorry to see you sold your car, but good luck with the EVO. Keep us updated on it

i drove an 08 gsr with some AMS **** on it, zeal coilovers and such. it drove pretty damn nice, felt quicker than my stage 2 09 sti and was comfortable inside. the shifts were really smooth like butter (stock).

def a nice car, we actually have it for sale (bought it at auction).
enjoy yours!

Thanks for the compliments, I appreciate it.

Here's an update. The evo has a perrin air filter, perrin turbo inlet, cobb stage 1 ots tune, and a perrin rear swaybar.

Put down 296whp on a mustang dyno with just the reflash and air filter. Dynoed the air filter vs. Stock and got 10whp and 13wtq out of it. Dynoed with no tune vs. The reflash and gained 35whp.

All on mustang dynos.

Recently got a works ss kit and swaybar set, looking into ohlins dfv coils and a perrin fmic. Also perrin catback and ams dp and hfc.

Then getting a real tune on the car. Should be at or over 340whp at that point.

Absolutely love the car. 13k miles on it now and no problems other than the two easy fix recalls.

Highly recommend the X.

Congrats twisties on the X purchase. I love the EvoX myself. You should really look at picking up an AGP wastegate actuator for it. There have been alot of tech articles in DSport Magazine and Modified mag about the boost fluctuations caused by the stock actuator on both the GSR and MR. Get that AGP actuator and have it put on for your custom tune. It will hold boost rock steady and allow for a finer tune. $150 or less. Look into it man. Enjoy the new whip.
