I was racing in SM and finished 7th. I would have finished 3rd if i didn't hit two cones, but I was fighting severe understeer from the alignment and lack of proper tires all day. After that second run a rain storm hit and covered the lot, so the rest of the day was relearning how to drive the car on the wet with an entirely new suspension, tires, alignment, and a big front swaybar. haha, not too shabby all things considered.
What a small world we live in. So I'm browsing the forum, I see a post you made somewhere. I see "Allentown, PA" as your place of residence, and I just so happen to live in Walnutport (North on 145 about 10-15mins).

Anyway, I then read through your log here and find this post and check out the AutoX results. I scroll to the bottom to get the overall top times of the day and who is in 1st?

That just so happens to be my good friends older brother who I knew AutoX'ed but I had no idea he was actually good lol. I'm definitely gonna have to tell him about this. It's just too weird!

Anyway, hit me up sometime.. I'd like to check your ride out

A fix to this solution: Don't go to Toys-R-Us! :P That entrance is nasty, I think I only ever went there once in my LGT when trying to find Rock Band.

Default Re: My RaceComp Engineered 2005 STi (Updated pg. 4 I can has Recaros)

updated my plans. modding is done for the summer. heading to the track on the 7th to see what she'll run with all the weight taken off in the rotating places. 12.9 at 105 was my previous best 2 years ago before the car really had anything on it.

Still playing with the T2's to find a nice daily driver setting. I'm absolutely loving these things! Since I'm moving to Greensboro, I've decided to keep the 500/400 rates sinc ethe roads will be smoother down there.

Also, since I'm moving to Greensboro next spring, all my spare cash gets thrown into house downpayment savings, so no more buying blitzes This gives me enough time to really enjoy the car as is, which is what I'm doing. I want to hit a few more autocrosses before I leave the area too, even with the PS2's on the car. I'm hoping more neg camber up front will alleviate the understeer.

Oh, ordering a wideband kit for the car so I can log the AFRs in Street Tuner and not worry about tuning the car and it blowing up Should be an easy install.

I can't begin to tell everyone that if you really want your Subaru to handle and ride as good as it gets, get some decent seats and slap some T2's on it. Chassis bracing is key too. It's a totally different experience behind the wheel and I've never been more confident in a car's abilities. It also helps to know that the suspension used on the Viper ACR and its 7:22 Nurburbring run is made by KW.

Doubt I'll have many more updates to this, so signing off in the meantime. Thanks for all of your comments in this journal, it's been a very fun ride this summer.

Innovate wideband kit from import image came in the mail. now i can properly datalog the car and make real changes. this is a pretty complete kit, i'm impressed. you get the guage, all the wiring needed, the bosch sensor, and a cd-rom with software to monitor everything. i got the red gauge so the numbers match the dash, although i will probably just run the guage into the glovebox so it's hidden when i'm not logging.

Awesome, sounds good. I'm free this weekend?

Picked up the factory Sirius kit for my 07 radio yesterday, going to install that tonight.
