I could modulate without ABS and I could do threshold breaking. The issue was one episode of assymetrical locking.

Lets see how the next test goes.= with more confidence and familiarity with the car.

There are few other things:

3-5th Synchronos are a bit worn. Have already talked to Modena transmissions and have a quote for something nice

Too much weight: AC and wiring remnants behind dash.

Full door and roof trims which I need to study to modify in a way not to change the philosophy of the car.

I am getting quotations for all the above. Over next 2-3 years will rectify the above.
Interesting. It sounds like there's definitely a weird issue somewhere in the system, you've been fighting this problem for a long time, no? Anyway, once you switch over to a pedal box you will never want to go back. The amount of feedback and modulation you get just can't be matched with a vac assisted system, and the pedal effort isn't as crazy as people make it out to be.

Thanks.

That option is being considered.

Urgent help:

Are the doors identical between a GD Hawkeyes wrx and bugeye STI?

How about subframes?

I will explain why, later.

I would think so, but I'm no expert...

The Detroit Crew says all Front Sedan doors should be the same. Rear doors are Sedan or Wagon specific. Shell wise of course trims are different.

GD sedan doors are all the same. There is a difference between the WRX and STi front subframe but I'm not exactly sure how different they are. Rears are also slightly different I believe to accommodate the R180 vs. R160.

So a bit of a wait here.

Waiting for an expensive new upgrade without which the car will not drive. It is being custom built for the car.

The shop are attending Targa Tasmania.

When they are back:

More weight reduction.
Aim data logging module and cameras.
Pedal box (Thanks Dan).
Some front aero update.

And most importantly, a lot more practice.

Vic TA was eye opening, I can no longer (TA has come a long way and everyone has lifted their game substantially) jump in and expect results with no practice.

Funny to me how that happens. I've been running with the same core HPDE club for 11 years now. They have over a dozen track days a year, I had gotten into the advanced open passing group for a couple of years. But last year only got out once and had to drop into group 2. Every one of the advanced drivers had stepped up their game both equipment and skill.
