Default Jasv11 RETIRED from competition***watch for new car coming soon***

So after being a member here for 3 years I finally decided to do the Journal thing. Always been more of a private guy as far as my toys go in the past as I have had my share of insurance claims due to theft years ago and I've become very careful with my stuff.

But the time has come.

Bought the car (2006) new in April 06 at Northtown Subaru in Buffalo NY and imported it into Canada myself.

The car was Cobb stage 2 within 2 weeks of owning it and I've never looked back.

Started a good friendship with Mike at Innovative Tuning back in April 06. I have trusted Mike over the past 3 years with his masterfull tuning and advise. He has never steered me wrong as far as modding of my car to be able to reach my goals.

My Sti is my weekend and holiday toy. It has currently 34,000 miles on it as we do travel alot throughout Canada and the U.S. with it.

I drag, autox and roadcoarse my car but Drag racing is priority as I was raised up in a muscle car drag racing enviroment when I was a kid.

Some of the events from the last 3 years that I have participated in are

Buschur Racing EVO vs. WRX shootout
Summit Motorsports Park Norwalk OH
June 24,2007

Midwest Subaru Owners Club Shootout
Byron Dragway Illinois
Sept 29,2007

Winged Warrior Import vs Domestic Shootout
O'reilly Raceway Park Indianapolis IN
May 10,2008

Buschur Racing Import Shootout
Summit Motorsports Park Norwalk OH
May 25,2008

Canadian Sport Compact Series
Toronto Motorsports Park
June 1,2008

Buschur Import Shootout
Summit Motorsports Park Norwalk OH
May 24,2009

King of the Hill
Deleware Speedway
July 10,2009

I also have attended many local autoX events over the last 3 years as well hosted by these local clubs.

HADA (honda)
PITL (mazda)
COMP (corvette)

Some of the accomplishments with my car are as follows

Canada's best 1/4 mile time with stock vf39 with a 12.31 @ 110.98 run back in June of 2007 that still stands today.

Midwest Subaru Owners Club Shootout @ Byron IL. 1st place stock turbo 12.46 @ 109.54 mph on Sept 2007.

Winged Warrior Indianapolis IN. 10th place overall among 90 competitors. 4th place in class in autox portion. 1st place in class for carshow portion of event.

Canadian Sport Compact Series June,1,08 "Best Subaru" in carshow

Budds Subaru 2008 Show and Shine Oakville Ontario, "Best Impreza" in show.

Toronto Subaru Club 2008 annual Meet "Best Of Go Award" show winner

Currently Canada's quickest Sti with a 1/4 mile pass of 10.91 @ 127.16 set on Oct 24,2008

*****Update new 1/4 mile best 10.85 @ 129.43 with a 1.50 60ft May 24,2009*********

Thanks guys

I'd love to go to WW again this year as I had a absolute blast last year but 18 hours round trip is just to much driving for me.

Thnx for the kind words!

You have a bike?? I can only wonder how fast that is

I might swing by to see the bikes whip around the road course...been eyeing an r6 for a while. Maybe I can sneak a couple of laps with the suspension tweaked up a bit for this year. I am thinking of hitting up the exotic car lapping day the weekend b4 on the 2nd of May...weather dependant

Man, for some reason i love how the engine bay looks on your car. Super clean. Looks great! Also really cool to watch your vids and see how the car has progressed.
