So after being a member for a while, I finally decided to start a journal. bought the car 8/23/07 from scranton mnooka subaru. im probably gonna get flamend on this comment but soon as i drove it off the lot i redlined it 1~4th whent to eat then took it up to 140+mph going home. did i break in correctly? i guess i did since i just hit 50k on the meter with stock internals and nothing ever broke on it (knock on wood). my plan for this car is regular dd and weekend track/autocross. so if you guys can give me some pointers that would be great. i will answer any questions about what i did or any of my mods just ask. all comments are welcome.

just recently changed the direction im going with this car. before i was going to build it for more of a streetable track car. moving to florida just changed my mind completely. no back roads and its all straight roads here, no performance needed. so i decided to go LOW AND SLOW. more towards show and looking good.

2007 STI with over 50k on the stock motor current milage 69k still going strong.

I must sit in that seat at the next meet, where ever it is. I refuse to take the plunge on a seat before trying it out or physically inspecting it first.
