Finally after being in love with STI's for several years now the time has come for me to finally get one. I've been a member on this forum for a while and it feels good to finally post a member journal.

I've been driving a 1998 Eclipse RS for the past 4.5 years. I have hated it since day one, but I'm a penny pincher and I held off on getting a car. Not too long ago it was stolen and they painted a lime green stripe on it that I quickly took paint thinner to after the cops recovered it. Now the clearcoat looks terrible and the exterior is in bad shape. It will remain my beater for now at least...who knows what the future holds for it.





I flew to Atlanta, GA bright and early on October 18th, bought the car, and drove it all the way back to Michigan. It had slightly under 24k miles.

Current Mods:
WRX trunk lid instead of the STI lid (soon to be swapped back once I find someone)
Tein SS Coilovers (stock suspension included)
SPT exhaust
Helix catted DP
Rally Armor UR mudflaps
Cobb AP v2

I also just picked up a set of gold bbs w/ RE070's with only 800 miles on them for the summer. A set of Blizzak LM-25's are on the way for the silver BBS wheels.






Future mods:
Swap someone for their STI trunk lid since I like it better
