IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2007 | It was done by the shop that installed my package deal in Austin, but they are no longer. Someone said that those guys were some serious tweakers. Oh well, they did good work. But the bumper....ya its cut even, but there's a big gap between it and the fmic. I don't like this way of cutting cuz this way, the air isn't necessarily getting rammed into the intercooler. I prefer the flush look. |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2007 | Once I'm done with my power mods (for now) I'll be getting a set of BC coilovers by the end of the year. After that then I can look into either the APR or Chargespeed widebody kit and some wheels. So I'll get to have a new bumper cut flush for the fmic. |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2007 | I spoke with Justin from Grimmspeed about the KSTech tgv delete kit. He said with just that kit and NO PnP'ing that I'd probably only get about 1/3 the gains from the whole tgv delete mod (there's a separator plate and lip in the tgv housing). I guess I'll have em ported when I finally get to build my block but for now, I'll: 1) Just take out the bar and flap for my setup and tune to come shortly and have them ported later OR 2) Wait to do it all at once and sell the KSTech kit, while it's new, as I would be pnp'ing the IM, TB, TGV's and uppipe as well as putting in phenolic spaceers in attempt to go reversed manifold. What do you guys think? |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2008 | Wouldn't count on getting much for re-enlisting, lol. You gonna go with the basic BC racing series, or for the duals? |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2007 | October is the new fiscal year for the military so it gets its whole new pot of gold for bonuses, schools etc. That's why I'm waiting till then. My mom bought this car seat for us last x-mas. As for the coilovers, yes I'll be going with the BC BR series. Maybe 8k/7k. I've made a couple threads asking for advice on spring rates and I'm stuck between the 8k/7k and the 8k/6k rates. |
