An old pic of when my Perrin equal length headers were being put on.

Finally got my new bov on. My first time taking off my front bumper and man, those pipes were DIRTY.

Checking the clearance for the new flange. It's going to be a tight fit.

I had the guy cut down the stock flange so I could index the new flange. He then widened the hole more towards the top/ hood side of the pipe to give the bov some clearance from hitting the intercooler piping below it. He did a beautiful job with the welds and placement.

He did it for free cuz I told him how I'm home on leave from Iraq He also said he'd make a block off plug for the recirculating line so I won't have to use my stock bov to plug it. That's customer service.

I got the f/r shifter bushings installed but they didn't take the "clunky" feeling out of the shifts. What is it that I'm feeling? I almost want to say those bushings didn't make a difference.

Well I was told it could be the tranny mount being so soft. I just ordered a Group N tranny mount, we'll see if it's really the cure.

I saw some descent graffiti so I pulled over in downtown Dallas and snapped a couple quick pics

I went over to Kieth at AWDTuning and he did some diagnostics to see if my motor is going since I saw oil in my intercooler piping. Everything is fine. He also ran my power numbers for ****s and giggles. Engine Logics dyno dynamics had me at 270/276 at 18.5 psi. Kieth read me at 281/272 at 17.5. I must have a leak somewhere cuz I'm hitting peak boost at 4300rpm!!

is the clunk between hard shifts? If so you can get the lockout bolts and outrigger bushings.

its not too bad during regular driving. it WAS mainly when driving hard yes. after going to the track, its still a little clunky but the f/r bushings did help with that a little. still clunky but the shifter doesnt stick when shifting hard into 2nd or 4th anymore.

what are those 2 bushings for?

Did you cut your bumper for your FMIC yourself or did you have somebody else do it? It's cut perfect and if you did do it, can you give me a quick run through of how you cut it (how'd you measure it to make the cuts?, what's you use to cut it?, etc.)
