IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2007 | what kind are you getting? what kind is the one on the left? I called Kieth and he said go with the 73mm but if they're the same price, then go 83mm. I sent the email to KSTech last night. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2007 | ???it looks like a 73 with a filter. not massive. Quote:
73mm is only 3mm or so bigger than stock...not big in anyway. Get the 83. Me, Im making my own, pretty easy since Im not using the maf anymore. I dont even require a intake, straight turbo ftmfw! | |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2007 | Then why would people go with a 65mm?? I already sent the email to KSTech so I can move on the intake build. I also ordered the red silicone elbow to mate the turbo to the FMIC. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2007 | dont know, that sounds dumb to me. my injen intake is 2.75 inches, thats 70mm. The aem one is 3inch and thats 75mm. I dont think the aps 65 and 70 are accurate measurments. |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2007 | I just took my Injen filter off a couple days ago to recharge it but I didn't measure it. In the back of my mind the 4'' intake would be best otherwise what's the point of a 4'' inlet on the compressor?? I understand that colder air is more dense so I think its about even as for how much hot air vs how much cool air is being put in. Either way, I'm going cold air. Matt at KSTech said they're putting the maf in the fender. I asked if I'd need to extend any wires and he said no so that's good. Last edited by armyssoldierboy; 02-08-2010 at 05:42 PM.. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2008 | i believe josh smokes crack sometimes! seriously! Any major upgrade in the maf size the cpu would go haywire! for instance stock to 70mm or even 75. If you're the ru-tard measuring the wrong thing well do us a favor and kick yourself some how! |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2007 | Well I got tired of looking for people to swap out headlights so I cut most of the tint off. I left the "eyelids". The wife just got home from her baking class and one of her classmates husband is a contractor in Germany..... she said the headlight tint is legal I find this out 20 min AFTER I took it off!! hhhhh oh well, there sure is a BIG difference in lighting I've never had/seen the stock lighting. It's been tinted since the day I got it (my mom picked it up and tinted everything before I came home from Korea so it was waiting for me).oh well, on with the pix. the difference: my final product, before goo gone: |
