Nope, never cracked a timing cover. I have pulled a few and put back in a few now. Just gotta be careful (and slow) putting it in and taking it out.

is it bad to do the break in of a new rebuild engine on fully synthetic oil ?
Well, my motor pulls about 19-20 inches of vacuum depending on how warm the oil is now which is pretty good. I used Shell Rotella T non synthetic for breakin (8k miles, changed three times), now I am on Shell Rotella T synthetic. It barely burns any oil.

We will make a meet.

We don't go out much because we have a 3 1/2 yr old. We used to have an on call sitter (grandma) but she has had some heart surgery and cannot watch after her really anymore. :/

We will be at Wes's this coming Saturday though.

Cool. I know there are people who have run pretty deep into the 12's on that map. What are your plans besides injectors?

I hear ya about work and time. I have all these "TODOs" with my car. Parts are sitting in the garage lol. I am enjoying driving it now though. I am in no hurry to get the FMIC on.
