I didn't bother with measuring PWC (what was the point, I already had the 99.5MM dropins). I did however split the block, mic every bearing to make sure they were within spec, etc. I honed the bores only with a cheap drill attachment. I get a tad, very small tad of piston slap. Once its warmed up it runs fine.

However, I inspected the Air pump cover plate and I did indeed put the right gasket on. The leftover gaskets I was thinking of were to the airpump pipe (from the head to the airpump).

So I guess I have to take the manifold off, the injectors, make sure the lines are all clean, then install the new intake manifold gaskets. If fueling is still the same, I am going to turn up the boost a bit and see if it levels out. At such low PW, it may be normal. It seems when I richen it up more, the oscillations are less. Its probably a multi-faceted issue.

when you changed the timing belt did you change the tensioner's and the little pulleys that the timing belt goes around?

like in this picture:

Gates Timing Belt + Tensioner Kit, Subaru EJ25T WRX / STi 2006+

I was just wondering?

Only one pulley was bad, tensioner was fine. Still running strong.

Crank it up and get that meth flowing! I tossed my injectors in and finished up today. 60-65% IDC at redline now and got 0-1% trims on the first flash.

At a party!

Methanol inj is finally working and I am tuning it now (just put 6k on dino oil (breakin) and switched to Rotella 5w40 synthetic).

Road dyno has me at a best of 393WHP and 398WTQ, but I think that is a bit on the edge for a road car. Gonna dial it down some to lower the EGTs.

Gabe when you pulled your engine did any of the timing covers crack? Were you able to reuse them?
