Looks good brother.. Honestly do Injectors if you can that is, look at my thread and see my numbers with and without injectors.. I mean there is so many guys stating you dont need them, and if your plans are for just a DP and CBE and a tune yeah your probably gonna be good.. But I see what your about..... Your like me your hooked and your gonna keep modding and injectors are needed either way one of the most important supporting mods.. On the intake, I wouldnt do a short ram if thats the case just get a K&N drop in.. I mean I love my APS CAI but if you dont want to do it stay with the stock box with a KN.

My tune thread

wow... those numbers are a nice upgrade, i just glanced at the before and after, didnt read anything though..... I was planning on a KnN drop in but when my tuner mention short ram i kinda started thinking for the future..... as i would with the injectors too if i bought em, would buy em for future use with the GT30 when i decide on that and get the ball rolling..... I'm trying my hardest to get Tuned ASAP cause this damn exhaust is driving me nuts just sitting in the box.... the intake or fuel pump, now injectors lol, its all a good idea but just that much more $$ i gotta save we'll see how soon uncle sam is gonna send me my check... should get about 1k back + whatever i qualify for for the economic relief check from George W...... I got all the time in the world, but the patience of a 2 yr old when it comes to my car and mods.....

As far as the intake, there are a lot of debates whether it helps or not. Honestly at this stage of your car, a short ram or cai wont do much. Now, I have one on my car, i didnt notice a difference, but i love the noise of it. However, if you are planning on upgrading turbo and everything soon, you might want to hold off. Depending on if you upgrade to a FMIC or not, the CAI or SR might not be compatiable with the piping of the FMIC. Just a thought.

^^.... I would just throw a K&N in for now especially if you dont want to run a CAI you can also find the SPT used for like a 100 bucks if you really want one. I had the SPT and it was fine, but I wanted to run a CAI I just like them and I think theyare a good addition but its like a accesoriy mod I wouldnt make it a must have... But if you can do injectors and a pump it would be nice, I mean if you went 740cc you have all the headroom for 90% of turbos out there and your car will run great sometime you go to big like 850cc and start seeing idle problems etc.. But with all this said you want to have a really good tune with the injectors and stuff so just make sure you get with a good tuner, not sure but you said he told you to do a short ram? I dont know that might send a flag up for me, I mean a tune could be the best thing or it can be really bad you know what I mean.. Good luck either way... Yeah I had a nice parts list just sitting in my livingroom for 2 months boxes everywhere my Wife wanted to kill me.. I usually like to do mods myself especially so I can learn, but i had surgery on my ankle so i just couldnt wait anymore and had a shop do it.. So i hear ya on the patience thing.. But take your time and do smart mods so you dont regret it in the long run.. Good luck

SO...... i have been in contact w/ the local tuner, last email unfortunately was a week ago hopefully hes just busy and not ignoring me.....
Anyway, i'm planning on getting ProTuned stg 2 here soon and i'd like to wrap some other parts into the tune other than just the exhaust.....

I currently have a catless invidia bellmouth downpipe sitting in my basement, along w/ a used G200 cat back that i got for a good price... I have gotten a few suggestions here and there as well as some input, but im hoping to hear alot of feedback on this before i place my final orders and set a date for the tune.....

I have been searching on what people suggest / do for a good solid stg 2 set up, and have gathered the following...

Turbo Back
Cold Air Intake (gotta b shortram for me, too much moisture here in colo)
Injectors (looking for suggestions that will go w/ stg 2 as well as the turbo upgrade i have planned.... planning for a GT30R.... just gotta research the different kits around and pick one...)
New boost solenoid
the Accessport of course, and the ProTune

Any suggestions on whats not needed or if im missing anything would be greatly appreciated Thanks all

So I spent the last couple days waiting for an email back from my tuner w/ still no luck but i have used that time to do research for my turbo upgrade. I'm very very excited, very anxious, kinda impatient but i'll have to take it 1 step at a time ... After discussing the topic w/ Modaddict for a day or two and reading all the stickies on the GT30 and such, I am planning on using the Crawford Performance GT30 Rotated kit w/ their FMIC and the I-Speed ECUtek... (Had cobb, so kinda shaky about using something new... but hey, change is good right?)

Still looking for input on my stg 2, comments in general, pics, anything at all

I also started a thread looking for someone to photoshop some Cherry blossom red wheels onto my car (OEM BBS).... just to see if i like it
Thanks all
