Yeah I got confused for a bit, I knew you were doing the Turbo kit for some reason i thought you had more mods right now.. Yeah like applz said I wouldnt even mess around with the DP especially to swap it out again come Turbo time, get the G200 on there if you want for some nice sound go STG 1 for sure and run it till you get your Turbo in and everyhting else you want..

Doing that Cattless DP your gonna want to get her tuned for sure and its really not worth it in your case keep your eyes on the big picture which is your Turbo swap bro..

planned to go in w/ the turbo is the kit, CP FMIC, a plethora of Defi's... wideband, knocklite.... uhm... i got more stuff i cant really remember for some reason.... i'd like to do the gauges and stuff pre turbo, so when the kit gets here im already set up for the "supporting" amenities

i hindsight, i should've eaten ice cream while i installed them.

Bishop: i think Defi's stg one AP. turbo later. final answer, as it makes the most sense.

((wait for the real power))

i did some more lookin around.... saturday will consist of.

-change to fully synthetic motor oil (taking suggestions on brands)
-pulling off the Prodrive axle back and putting on the G200
-TiC Super Shift Set front shifter stay bushing
-TiC Super Shift Set rear shifter stay bushing

i think im forgetting something, but oh well....

Those w/ suggestions for oil, should i be planning to change the trans oil, diff, etc... any time soon?....

And i agree applz. i did a ton of searching tonight and i'm gonna do Cobb OTS stg 1 91oct.... the newest 1.04 or whatever thats helping the 07s so much.
on top of that and the g200, im not sure what i wanna knock out next on the list, but the Defis would be really nice we'll see though

Edit: How do you change / remove a poll?.... wtf

i use 5w-30 (recommended by SOA)Mobil 1 synthetic with a Mobil 1 filter for engine oil. always have used this.
remember... 4.5 quarts

as far as tranny and rear diff fluid.. 30k mile. i will post up a whole section of DIY's that i have used in my journal probably at the bottom of the 1st post.

Sounds good, i was planning on using the OEM filter and 5w30, it was just a toss up between Amsoil, Royal Purp, and Mobil 1.... i'll probably use Mobil 1 since i have heard alot more positives about it

There's alot of people who eat through mobil1 so watch your oil consumption on your first change with 5w30.

I run it and don't burn a damn drop.

I would recommend the factory filter.

have 1 filter left over from the 3 i got a while back, headed out the door now to pick up some oil, maybe spray the car down quick to get the major gunk off it, and give it a good bath tonight or tomorrow.... we had... Rain, then sun, then clouds and wind, then rain, then HEAVY snow, then sun, then Fog, then blue skies... and now its getting a little overcast again..... this was all observed in the 8 or so hours i was at work..... gotta love the weather.... we were short some hail, lightning, and a tornado i figure lol....

Trippin (who sold me the G200) made an interesting suggestion that i could slap the DP and exhaust on, flash stg 2 and see what happens, since the boost issues dont effect EVERYONE, but theres a higher chance it will effect me.... i gave it some thought and was going to try it, but i thought some more... i have access to the lift i use maybe once a month, so if i have issues, i'd be screwed till i could take it all off again and put the OEM DP on....
I'm just going to do what Applez suggested, put on the catback, order a drop in filter, buy an AP and flash stg 1 for a better ride while i save....
Just gotta sell the downpipe now...
also i got to thinkin about emissions in like 4 or whatever years it will be before i have to get it done.... not sure how the turbo would play into that?.... oh well
