well the black widow is killing us. At tuning we had a little clunk in the motor, that turned out to be a bent bucket. it seems like we have to do everything twice.
at the first test at mosport a lot of bugs where found with not only the tune, but with brakes, rad system, and a little oil leak.
i brought it back to 4 Star on the 3rd for the final tweek and tune, and it should be out for the 1st to get to the track for some racing.
it's been a hard road so far but i think i might see the light soon

I HOPE!

me too man, with all the bugs in the first test being worked out this month we should have a great race car around Sept 1st!

hopefully next year with Aiko 1 1/2 i'll make it down to a race down there.

I'm not sure about the rule that will allow it or not, but how come you are running only 235 and 17" tires? Can you run bigger tires then 235's?

I'm currently running 275/35/18 Hooiser R3S05's and they fit in the stock body with some fender rolling and pulling a bit.

Otherwise, nice set up. Here are some picture of my car being build:

they're just tires for bring the car around now.
for racing i used to use 245 RA1, but now i'm on 255/40/17 R888 on 17x9's. i don't really see the need to go anything bigger right now. i don't want to reduce my overall speed or gain any more weight.

looks like a nice little build you got there mug23.

we ran the hankook 275/35/18 slicks, they worked really well in that size for a full-weight STI on enkei 18x10.5 RPF1s (lightweight and ultra-cheap)
